Project Life = FABULOUS

So I have been seeing the Becky Higgins Project Life kits everywhere and haven't really paid any attention to it...until I got a birthday gift from my sister-in-law with a mini kit...and so yesterday I decided to play with this little box of goodies and WOW..I love it! And the best part is that it's super easy, super fast, and simple.   I don't have much crafting time at the end of the day after working, working out, making dinner, putting the kiddies to bed...so by the time that's done I'm either exhausted or only have an hour or so before the baby wakes up again...but with PL I can see myself busting out tons of pages in no time...and now I know what to do with all my leftover paper scraps and make my own custom PL cards!

And to top off my latest addiction I spent last night looking up PL kits and cannot wait to get my hands on all the new CHA Summer releases from Amy Tangerine, Dear Lizzy, Maggie Holmes, Crate Paper, etc.  so much good stuff coming out!

Confessions of a paper hoarder

Stopped by my local Michaels today on my lunch break and came across these two new 12X12 paper stacks:

 

Got both on sale for $11.99 each (regularly $19.99) but I had a giftcard so I used that...The top one is the Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Collection and the bottom is called Vintage Collector Stack by DCWV.  And I have to say that I love love love both these collections..they fit my style so well..feminine without being over the top frou frou girly pink..lots of my favorite color Aqua/Teal in both collections..

The Maggie Holmes collection is stunning and includes lots of vellum..while the Vintage Collector is just filled with quirky cute images of vintage camers, hot air balloons, clouds, etc.  Planning on using these collections to make custom dividers for a few new Filofax planners I have coming soon...Probably going to use the Vintage Collector for a Brown Finsbury I'm expecting and the Maggie Holmes papers for my Raspberry Finsbury...I'll also want to make a lot of mini albums using inspiration from this YT video from mrstlc1:



I'll do another post showing my dividers in my Filofax'es (is that even a word?) and I'll also try to do a new YT video on my new setups me newest additions to my FF collection...

Introductions

My official first blog entry and I don't know where to start...and I ask myself why I want to join the world of blogging and the simple answer is that I need an outlet for my crazy but blessed life..with three kiddos, a hubby, working full time, and going to school..I needed something that I could do for myself just because..so here it is..my blog page...not sure who is going to read this..but I plan on documenting my life and the things I love...and some days i will make a lot of sense and other days I will just need to vent...I think for the most part I want to capture my everyday...from crafting, to cooking, to working out, to my obsessions...whatever comes to my head will probably end up here..so here goes!
